How listings are ordered

We want you to know why a business appears where it does. Here are the rules, in full.

Category and town pages

Listings are shown in three groups, in this order:

1. Featured businesses, which pay for this placement (the yearly Featured plan or Featured Lifetime). They are always marked with a “Featured” label.
2. Verified businesses, which have paid a one-time fee for a fuller profile and a Verified badge.
3. Free listings.

Within each group, listings are in alphabetical order. We do not take payment for any other change in position.

Search

Search results show Featured businesses that match your search first, then all other matches by how well they match the words you typed (the business name counts most, then its categories, town, keywords and description).

The home page

The “Featured businesses” section shows a random selection of businesses on a Featured plan. “Newly listed” shows the newest listings.

What “Verified” means

Every listing, free or paid, is checked by a person before it goes live. The Verified badge means the business has bought the Verified plan or a higher one and confirmed its details through an account linked to the business.

Reviews

We don't show customer reviews at the moment.

This page explains our ranking as required by EU consumer and platform rules (Directive 2019/2161 and Regulation 2019/1150).
